Throngs of people head to Pier Village in Long Branch during beach season. But it’s lively here in the wintertime, too.
At Festival Plaza on Centennial Drive, there’s an outdoor ice rink where folks are welcome to practice their axel, Salchow, loop, or Lutz. It’s also a place for those who are interested in lacing up a pair of ice skates for the first time.
