Women’s March in Philadelphia 2018

It has been nearly one year since Trump’s inauguration and being in the oval office. But women around the United States aren’t giving support to Trump after his private conversation with former NBC correspondent Billy Bush about “grab them by the pussy” and referring to Megyn Kelly in an inappropriate statement about blood running through her eyes, as in another term for her monthly period.

Since then, women have stood up and protested President Trump and other incidents in which women have been mistreated, sexually harassed, and being weak to men. An organization called Women’s March are now marching and protesting every year in cities to protest Trump’s actions and issues of men’s inappropriate behavior towards women.

Arriving at Benjamin Franklin Parkway was a 10,000-citizen march and protest near Logan Square and the Philadelphia Art Museum. Signs were held up with mocking images of Trump, some Republican party members who support Trump and who are to blame, rainbow-colored flags, people dressing up in costumes, and thousands of propaganda signs of women’s rights and feminism.

After reaching the steps of the museum, in which the stage was located, people were shouting with hate and anger as little kids between the ages of 5 and 9, standing with their parents and women symbolizing the next generation to stand up to intolerant people and discrimination against people’s beliefs and rights.
