The Creation Of The Super Bowl Champs Going Viral

Never in my life did I think that one of my images would become viral on social media. After the Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII, my mom’s friends and I went to Philly to celebrate this tremendous victory, which was the first Super Bowl victory for the Eagles in NFL history. When entering the city, it was like any other city winning a big game. Vehicles were honking their horns, people were screaming and shouting for joy, police car and ambulance sirens were blasting every corner of the street, and thousands of fans were gathering around Broad Street and City Hall.

I walked into the city, and the streets were rough when I was trying to get to Broad Street. But when I was near City Hall, I saw thousands of fans shooting fireworks in the air, climbing light poles, cars, and street signs; and knocking over city properties. However, when I was cheering and capturing moments in the city, I spotted two guys hanging on the street signs and noticed they were recreating Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam.” As soon I saw it, I took a picture, even though my ISO and aperture were off and didn’t come out as I hoped it would.

When I got home and started editing my photos, I shared my pictures with my mom and stepdad, and they were surprised with my image of the two guys recreating Michelangelo’s masterpiece; then they told me to share the image with them, and we agreed to post it on social media.

The Creation of Super Bowl Champs

The next morning, I woke up with over a thousand shares and likes, and I received an email from a reporter named Patricia Madej from the Philadelphia Inquirer, and she asked for an interview about the image, including my old friend from Rider Univerity named Brandon Scalea from Rider University.

If you would like to read both interviews about my image, links to the articles are below this story.
